Let's clear a few things up....

We've heard the whispers, seen the tags and know there are plenty of potential Sweet Days, Hot Farmers hiding out there in the Burdekin 👀

🔥 So, a few things you should know...

1⃣ 𝗜𝘁'𝘀 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝗻.

We want the men and women, young and old - farmers, contractors and growers who keep the Burdekin sweet all year round! 🌾

2⃣ 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗗𝗢𝗡'𝗧 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿.

A good photo from your camera roll is fine! It'll be used for nominations and public voting – although a snap on the farm never hurts when convincing the Burdekin you deserve a month in the calendar 😉

The final 12 will get their own professional calendar photoshoot! 📸

3⃣ 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗗𝗢𝗡'𝗧 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹.... 𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳𝗳!

We're looking for personality, character and a bit of Burdekin charm. HOT is open to interpretation 🔥

Maybe you light the hottest cane fires.
Maybe you make a blue Pilbara work shirt look suspiciously hot.
Maybe you're literally hot after a day in the paddock.
Or maybe Mum just reckons you're a very handsome young man 😂

4⃣ 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗗𝗢𝗡’𝗧 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳.

Know someone who belongs in the calendar? Dob them in! And if you nominate yourself? We love the confidence 🔥

No more excuses... here’s how to nominate yourself or someone you know 👇

📸 Email us your name, phone number and photo to sweetdays@burdekin.qld.gov.au by Sunday 18 October 2026
